So the point of the tonals is just to tell the foreground from the background elements, but every now and then I like to challenge myself a little bit, like how I want to texture the mecha's metal. Metal is so tricky, and I tried to go for a brushed aluminum look. That was as close as I could get. Also fun was getting the right amount of shininess on Xerx's leather chair.
